The Jerome Alston Memorial Foundation currently hosts two types of 5K Run/Walks:

Registration Information
- Three different categories: Child (ages 7-12), Youth (ages 13-17), Adult (18+), Babies (ages 0-6) are free but do not receive a 5K Shirt or Finisher Medal
- Early Bird Registration is between November 1, 2016- February 13, 2016 at midnight EST
- Regular Registration is between February 14, 2016- May 6, 2016
- Day of Registration is May 7, 2016 (an additional fee is assessed for registration)
Team Registration
- Teams consist of 5-1000+ people
- Teams will receive a 10% discount off of registration
- Team Captain must register initially and create the team for others to search for and register under
- If you team does not have a minimum of 5 members by May 6, 2016 each team member will be charged an additional fee
- Awards: Team with MOST PARTICIPANTS, Team with MOST SPIRIT*
Make your team stand out and be creative!! This friendly competition is supporting a greater cause.
Virtual Runner
- Unable to physically attend the event?? As a Virtual Runner can can run the 5K anywhere
- Complete the 5K and submit a picture and your time to receive your 5K Shirt & Finisher Medal
- 5K Shirt and Finisher Medal will only be shipped once picture and time have been submitted to BE5K@JeromeAlston.org
WALKERS ARE WELCOME. THIS IS A RUN/WALK

- Awards: Team with MOST PARTICIPANTS, Team with MOST REPRESENTATION FROM ONE HBCU, Team who RAISED THE MOST MONEY, Team with MOST SPIRIT

Youth Organizations INCENTIVE
- $100 in scholarship money will be earmarked for a student from your organization for every 7 people that register under your team
- If 7 people register thats $100, if 14 people register thats $200, if 21 people register thats $300, etc..
- To do this, select a "Team Captain", who must register first and create the team name. Everyone else may register after and select the team name to participate under
